Becks is a 16.1 hh TB Schoolmaster who is 15 years old. He is a quality horse with lovely movement and very brave on xcountry he is an ideal horse for pony club, inter school, or junior eventing.
He would also suit a straight dressage home, successfully competing Novice dressage with his current junior rider and training elementary at home.
Although we have jumped him higher (1.15m) he is happy jumping around the 1.05 m heights in showjumping and is experienced up to 1.05m eventing with previous owners.
Beck’s has had an amazing competitive year, starting with state camp at Sydney International Equestrian Center in January.
Most notable was his win at State Combined Training Championships in the 15-17 age group at pony club NSE harden event. He also placed 4th in the B grade eventing at the same championships.
Becks is a gorgeous gelding, quiet, with no buck, bolt or shy, he loves xcountry and knows his job.
He has looked after his current rider for the past few years and has allowed him to compete whilst being away at boarding school which is testament to his nature and it's going to be a hard goodbye.
With year 12 looming the owners have made the difficult decision to part with Becks and allow a junior rider to enjoy him.
